Remember that while Amazon fulfills pre-orders in the order received, you lose your place in the queue if you go back at a later date and change anything in the order (for example the shipping method).

If you have pre-ordered the DP1 on Amazon and at the same time pre-ordered accessories such as the hood, your order is likely to not ship until May-June. This is because some accessories such as the hood will not be available until that time, and Amazon by default ships the whole order as one package. The solution is to specify to Amazon that they ship the items separately, at which point the estimated ship date for the DP1 will magically change from May-June to March 25 (unless you have chosen free "Super Saver Shipping," in which case they estimate March 31).
