This is just the first part and has useful comparisons of size/weight, appearance, and menu structure. I expect that the next part in the series will look at image quality.

well, some of their samples seem to be processed from raw, some others aren't. also different raw converters were used for each camera. the LX3 samples have the typical silkypix noise-blotches. i am sure amin will do a better comparison.
still the LX3 looks quite OK at iso1600 when compared to the other cameras. with some slight processing even the silkypix conversions can look quite ok:
