Sigma DP1 Under $500 New at Amazon

The Sigma DP1 is now selling for $489 at Amazon. Introduced at $800 less than a year ago, the DP1 still sells for $700 at a number of major distributors such as Adorama and J&R. The Amazon price is $100 lower than I have seen anywhere else.

It will be interesting to see whether Sigma introduces the DP2 for $800 or at a lower price point.

Yeah......I really hope it's a little cheaper than $800. If so, DP1!!!!!!

i couldn't resist when i saw an austrian distributor selling it for 330,- € which is really cheap for european measures.
my G1 goes to panasonic service because of some problems so i hope that the DP1 will give a little distraction until my G1 arrives back.
